This is as good to eat as white rice, and you are allowed one 8-ounce serving. However, wait a while longer before eating white rice and potatoes, as they contain sugars that, for the time being, get assimilated a little too “rapidly.” Portions must not exceed 4 ounces.
Eat slowly and think about what you are eating
Pleasurable foods are included again in this phase of the diet. Enjoy them! Eating them slowly will lessen your appetite, since after 20 minutes, you will start to feel satiated. You can also learn to savor all these textures and flavors that up until now have not been allowed. Get into the habit of taking your time, particularly if before dieting you were used to wolfing down your food.
